Overview - NBCE Directors
The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Board of Directors is composed of eleven directors: five district directors, two representatives from the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB), and four at-large directors.
Each state that recognizes NBCE examinations in its licensing process has the opportunity to name one chiropractic member of its board as a National Board voting delegate. NBCE District Directors are elected by NBCE voting delegates to serve three-year terms. Elections for District Directors are held on a rotating schedule each spring at the NBCE Annual Delegates Meeting.
For purposes of representation, the NBCE divides the United States into five geographic districts, with each district being represented by a District Director.
Two directors are appointed by the FCLB to serve on the NBCE Board. The four Directors At-large are elected by the Board of Directors to serve terms of from one to three years.
After all directors are elected, the Board elects its officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Chairman of the Board. |
